...£10,000 for the Oxford Philomusica!

The Oxford Philomusica is the University’s Orchestra-in-Residence; the city’s only professional orchestra, and one that relies entirely on voluntary donations. So the donation from Raymond Blanc’s renowned Le Manoir aux Quat’Saisons restaurant of £10,000 in January came as an incredibly welcome gift, allowing it to maintain its programme of events in Oxford and beyond.

“I’ve always had a passionate interest in local and regional charities and truly understand the importance of support whenever possible,” said the chef. “It is a testament to our business that we want to bring pleasure to all who visit Le Manoir and as part of a bigger family, we are all involved in helping these worthwhile causes!”
