Founded in 1885, The Oxford University Ice Hockey Club (OUIHC) is recognised by the International Ice Hockey Federation as the second oldest club in the history of the sport. In recognition of the club’s tradition of excellence, its jersey hangs proudly in the Ice Hockey Hall of Fame in Toronto, Canada.

In addition to competing in the top checking and non-checking divisions of the British Universities Ice Hockey Association, the OUIHC Men’s and Women's Blues teams also embark on tours and camps around Europe to play teams abroad.

In 2017, the OUIHC established a permanent endowment (The Oxford University Ice Hockey Fund) which, in addition to sponsorship and commercial income, will help support the ongoing development of the club, whilst reducing the financial barrier to participation for its members – both male and female.

The Fund is managed by Oxford University Endowment Management, and the net income is used to support essential training and coaching costs, as well as tours and camps.

One-off or recurring gifts of all sizes will help to secure the future of ice hockey at Oxford. Thank you, in advance, for your support.
