We are delighted you are interested in working at the University of Oxford.

Oxford aims to set the standard for university fundraising in Europe.  The Oxford Thinking Campaign was launched in 2008, aimed at raising a minimum of £1.25bn to transform the collegiate University for many generations to come.  This goal was increased to £3bn in 2012, and gifts totalling over £2bn have already been received.

This could not be a more exciting time to join Oxford.  Oxford is a terrific place to work as a fundraiser – world-leading academics in every department, a community of alumni and friends who have real passion for the University and its colleges, and a deep commitment to philanthropy across the Institution. You would be joining a department with strong induction and ongoing personal development programmes, clear objectives and core values which include professionalism, collaboration, service-orientation, flexibility, and pro-activity.

The Development Office has talented and proven development professionals working in a number of different roles supporting the Oxford Thinking Campaign. From front line fundraising – whether annual, major or principal gifts – to donor relations, prospect research, communications or data analysis or processing, there are roles in the Development Office where you can build and develop your career.

If you believe you have the enthusiasm, drive, and experience required to work with us, please apply for one of the roles below, or register your interest in future roles here.

I wish you every success in your application.

With very best wishes,

Liesl Elder
Chief Development Officer
