Originally founded in 1886 as a theological college and achieving full College status in 1995,  Mansfield has become one of Oxford’s most open and forward-thinking Colleges. It occupies one of the most attractive sites in Oxford, close to all the libraries and shops, yet in a quiet position near to the University parks and River Cherwell.

The membership comprises approximately 50 academic staff, 220 undergraduates, 50 graduates and 35 visiting students. Mansfield is smaller and younger than other Oxford Colleges and the limited resources put pressure on the facilities here. Yet, despite this pressure, Mansfield now regularly appears in the top half of the Norrington table and scores highly in student satisfaction surveys on academic care and support.  100% of your gift will be used to support College projects that will have a direct, positive impact on the College and its students.
