Donate Colleges Worcester College Worcester College, in its current form, was founded in 1714. The college is a happy blend of ancient and modern and welcomes diversity amongst its students and staff. Facilities for study are excellent, and students enjoy a wide range of music, drama and sporting activities making the college an ideal community in which to work. The Worcester Fund (unrestricted gift) Unrestricted gifts to the Worcester Fund are particularly valuable, as they can be directed to where they will have the biggest impact on College life, allowing us to respond quickly and appropriately to the areas of greatest need for all students. Graduate Scholarships at Worcester Many of Worcester’s graduate students do not have the security of full, assured funding to cover fees and living costs. Donations from Old Members are crucial to ensuring that the brightest minds choose Worcester as the launchpad to a bright future. Tutorial Fellowships at Worcester Tutorials make a student’s time at Worcester unique, but the cost is subsidised by £5000 a year. We aim to endow all tutorial fellowships, our current focus being Biology, Biochemistry, Classics, Earth Sciences, Geography, Music, Physics, Psychology. Access and Outreach at Worcester Gifts to Access and Outreach help the brightest people from all backgrounds make successful applications and achieve their potential at Worcester, ensuring that our community is open minded, diverse, and intellectually curious. Student Hardship at Worcester Gifts to Student Hardship allow us to support students who encounter sudden financial difficulties. This can happen for many reasons such as a parent or guardian becoming unemployed, parental separation or family estrangement, illness or bereavement. Sustainability at Worcester Gifts to this fund allow us to invest in projects that help the Worcester College site to attain net zero and promote biodiversity. The fund also allows us to recruit the brightest academics fighting climate change and biodiversity loss. Worcester’s Buildings, Gardens and Grounds Maintaining Worcester's medieval cottages, Terrace Building, gardens and lake is expensive, as is equipping the site for the twenty-first century and a sustainable future. Gifts to this fund help us steward the College for future generations.
